2. We do not share your personal or health information with partners, labs, or outside organizations unless you explicitly connect or show it yourself.

3. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

4. We do not track your location.

5. We do not show your private history: no one can see who you were with, how many past partners you had, or their status. If someone accesses your phone, the only information they can see in Swabber is your own status and score.

What We Collect

We collect, process and store only the minimum information needed to make Swabber work:

 

1. Account Information: Your email, username, and password (stored securely).

2. Verification Status: Secure lab verification that generates a status + timestamp. No raw results are ever stored.

3. Partner Connections: Records of connections between users, used only for anonymous exposure notifications.

4. Educational Progress: Completion records for modules, quizzes, and progress tracking.​​

What We Do With Your Information

1. Verify and display your Swabber Index score (based entirely on variables you control).

2. Allow you to show your verified status to partners privately from your device.

3. Send anonymized exposure notifications when necessary.

4. Track your learning progress so you can see improvements over time.

How We Protect Your Information

1. All sensitive data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

2. Device pin to ensure only you have access to your account when logged in.

3. Verification data stays separate from your personal account details.

4. Exposure notifications never reveal your identity or test results.

5. Wherever possible, information stays on your device unless you choose to share it.

6. If someone gains access to your phone without your permission, they will only see your current status and score — not partner lists, histories, or hidden details.

Your Choices

1. You decide when and if to share your verified status with partners.

2. You can delete your account at any time — all data will be erased.

3. You can use education modules without linking them to lab tests if you prefer.

Data Retention

1. Verification timestamps remain only while your account is active.

2. Exposure notifications are temporary and anonymized.

3. Deleting your account permanently erases all associated records in our system. Your health records we accessed from your health provider remains with them.

Children’s Privacy

1. Swabber is designed for users 15 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 15.

1. We may update this policy from time to time. Any major changes will be reflected here with an updated “Effective Date.”
